Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing For our spiritual growth as a church, prayer is very important. The bible encourages us to pray without season (1Thessa 5:17). It is in the place of prayer that our battles are won as believers. RCCG Encomium Palace believes so much in power of prayer because it brings to pass God’s will in His church. In this department, we have men and women that are prayer warriors who intercede for the church, nations, lost souls and body of Christ as a whole from time to time as Holy Spirit leads.

    As a group we meet weekly to pray and we thank God for great and wonderful things he has been doing through this department. John 5:14: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

Choir

The Choir Department, (a.ka The Encomium Voices), is a group of like-minded, dedicated and spirit-filled worshippers who come together for the sole purpose of worshiping and exalting the name of the Lord.

    This department is a very impactful ministry in the church and functions to lead the congregation into the presence of God while ministering in songs and instruments The purpose of this ministry is to win souls for Christ and raise generations that will praise and worship God wholeheartedly The department meets every Saturday at 5pm for rehearsals and prayers.

Technical

Exodus 31:4-5 - To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. The technical department serves as the engine room of the church’s operations. It specializes in using technical abilities to ensure the smooth running of the church, ranging from the audio-visuals, quality of production and special programs.

The media department fulfil her mandate by communicating the church’s programs to the congregation, guests and the general public.

    The department manage the church’s website, photography, email channels and the social media platforms. Using these platforms to augment worship, preaching and teaching with the aim of glorifying Jesus Christ.

Teaching Department/Christian Education

Ephesians 4:11-13 – And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. This is the Learning and Spiritual Development Arm of RCCG, Encomium Palace. This Mega Department comprises of Sunday School, Bible Study, Believer/Baptismal Class, House Fellowship, School of Disciple and other Units committed to building and nurturing members with the undiluted, unadulterated word of God; using the Holy Bible as our primary guide.
