Here, we listen to the word, praise the Lord Jesus and we experience wonders. We are a young, vibrant, multi-generational bible believing church located in the city of Saskatoon. Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing For our spiritual growth as a church, prayer is very important. The bible encourages us to pray without season (1Thessa 5:17). It is in the place of prayer that our battles are won as believers. RCCG Encomium Palace believes so much in power of prayer because it brings to pass God’s will in His church. In this department, we have men and women that are prayer warriors who intercede for the church, nations, lost souls and body of Christ as a whole from time to time as Holy Spirit leads.

    As a group we meet weekly to pray and we thank God for great and wonderful things he has been doing through this department. John 5:14: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”


Choir

Revelation 5:11 - And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. The Choir Department, (a.ka The Encomium Voices), is a group of like-minded, dedicated and spirit-filled worshippers who come together for the sole purpose of worshiping and exalting the name of the Lord.

    This department is a very impactful ministry in the church and functions to lead the congregation into the presence of God while ministering in songs and instruments The purpose of this ministry is to win souls for Christ and raise generations that will praise and worship God wholeheartedly The department meets every Saturday at 5pm for rehearsals and prayers.


Technical

Exodus 31:4-5 - To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. The technical department serves as the engine room of the church’s operations. It specializes in using technical abilities to ensure the smooth running of the church, ranging from the audio-visuals, quality of production and special programs.

Men’s Ministry [Encomium Men]

Luke 2:25 – And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. The Men ministry comprises of all men in the church. The ministry provides an avenue for men to meet, discuss and encourage one another in the word of God, through fellowship, seminars and sports. It also helps groom young men as priests and shepherds of their homes to raise godly families.

Encomium Women [Royal Daughters]

Proverbs 31:10 – Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Our Good Women ministry is a connection between all the women in Encomium Palace. This group edifies in encouraging women to work in the vision of Christ and also mentors women on their roles at the church, in the home and also in society. The ministry holds regular prayer meetings and women's conferences to pray for areas such as the church, society, family and for the children. This unit ensures that there is unity among members in the church and manages special programs organized by the church.

Youth and Teen’s Ministry

1Timothy 4:12 – Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example to the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Encomium Youth Ministry is a group of young people with a strong desire to be like Christ. We lead by example and strive to influence young people of all nations to our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Our overall goal is to provide an environment where the next generation of kingdom influencers are groomed. To achieve this, our programs are excellently crafted to help youths develop spiritually, physically, academically, socially, emotionally, mentally……you get the idea! We gather for service, monthly meetings and many other events that helps us to grow in faith. We continue to welcome new members and offer opportunities to be involved in all activities and build great relationships among ourselves.
